Qualification Details
• Graduate, Degree, Bachelor of Pharmacy
• Post-Graduate, PGD, A Postgraduate qualification in Pharmacy from a recognized University.
Experience Details
• Should have practical experience in the delivery of pharmaceutical services gained from at least six (6) years of experience, three (3) of which should have been at the level of Senior Officer.

• Strong management, communication, and interpersonal skills, high integrity and a community service ethic.
Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
• Produce work plans and initiate policies, strategies and standards related to Pharmaceutical management (including rational drug use)
• Liaise with the National Drug Authority and the National Drug Stores to ensure efficient operation of the National Pharmaceuticals framework.
• Quantify the drug needs at different health delivery levels.
• Provide capacity building and technical support to health units.
• Monitor the performance of pharmacists and dispensers in health units.
• Produce work plans.
• Participate in the Ministry’s quality assurance program.
• Advocate for compliance with the regulations and guidelines.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time

2. Relevant Documents are the following:
a) Academic and professional certificates (UCE, UACE, Professional Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees, Fellowships).
b) Evidence of training in specialized areas where applicable.
c) Letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion where applicable.
d) Registration certificates and valid practicing licenses for health workers who are required by law to register with relevant Professional Councils.
e) National and current Institutional Identity Cards.
f) Priority should be given to uploading only the relevant documents in the job specifications.
