JOB DETAILS:
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences; or Social Work and Social Administration; or Development Studies; or a related Bachelor’s Degree qualification plus a Masters Degree in Human Rights; or Social Sector Planning and Management; or Public Administration and Management; or Development Studies; or a Masters Degree in any of the above or related field from a recognized University/ Institution.

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of six (6) years of relevant working experience, (3) of which should have been served at Senior Officer level at a relevant Department (Probation and Social Welfare, Community Development, Social Development) in Government or equivalent level of experience from a reputable organization

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Assistant Commissioner, Children’s Affairs for performing the following duties:-
1. Documenting and disseminating information on the rights of all people
2. especially the disadvantaged;
3. Supervising, monitoring and evaluating child protection institutions;
4. Compiling quarterly and annual reports for child care and protection;
5. Advocating for child care and protection;
6. Developing and maintaining a database on child care organizations;
7. Developing and nurturing national, regional and international networks and
8. collaboration linkages for child care and protection;
9. Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
