Experience Details
• Should have working experience of six (6) years, three (3) of which should have been at the level of Senior Psychiatric Clinical Officer.

Key Duties of the Post/Key Results Areas
• Refer complicated cases.
• Initiate and participate in research activities.
• Impart knowledge and skills to students and staff.
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
• Diagnose, treat and manage patients with mental illnesses
• Ensure maximum protection of patients, relatives and staff.
• Participate in planning, budgeting, monitoring and evaluating Psychiatric activities
• Manage and account for allocated resources.
• Promote observance of the professional Codes of Conduct and Ethics by staff under him or her.
• Carry out human resource management activities such as identifying manpower needs, training, leave and deployment.
• Compile and submit reports.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified applicants to fill vacant posts tenable at the Ministry of Health - Headquarters (MoH-Hqtrs), Ministry of Health - Regional Referral Hospitals (MoH - RRHS), Moroto RRH, Arua RRH and Uganda Blood Transfusion Services (UBTS). 1. Applicants are advised to:
a) Complete PSF 3 and keep it for future reference.
b) Secure a scanned passport size photograph (JPEG format).
c) Scan only the relevant documents.
2. Relevant Documents are the following:
a) Academic and professional certificates (UCE, UACE, Professional Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees, Fellowships).
b) Evidence of training in specialized areas where applicable.
c) Letters of appointment, confirmation and promotion where applicable.
d) Registration certificates and valid practicing licenses for health workers who are required by law to register with relevant Professional Councils.
e) National and current Institutional Identity Cards.
f) Priority should be given to uploading only the relevant documents in the job specifications.
