JOB DETAILS:
Main Duties and Responsibilities
HSSE
• Take Health, Safety & Environmental lead in ensuring 'safe systems of work' and 'safe conditions are in place within area of responsibility.
• Demonstrate visible commitment to HSE by periodically leading/taking part in risk assessments, audits, HSE meetings, emergency drills.
• Ensure assigned staff complies with all company HSE policies & procedures and related initiatives.
• Ensure Engineering activities are performed in compliance with a high regard to Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.
Technical Project Execution phase
• Design preparation of the NPDMS with the support of HQ for Oil, Gas and LPG production and water injection as per the Company and Industry standards.
• Prepare Oil lifting tools and processes in collaboration with EACOP, Kingfisher and the Refinery.
• Support definition of LPG lifting plan.
• Prepare dashboard for monitoring of production performance indicators, Shortfalls, Production budgeting and forecasts.
• Follow up the NPDMS deployment from Site assessment to testing and delivery.
• Ensure handling of the tool by operators, production superintendent and all people responsible for completing the NPDMS tool on daily and monthly basis.
Procedures
• Develop the procedures associated with the official reporting processes including Production data management, Potential and production forecast, Production and injection shortfalls, Unplanned shutdown reporting and analysis. Accompaniment
• Prepare training material with HQ and Prod/Material Balance Lead Engineer for NPDMS users within Tilenga and beyond for Oil lifting coordination.
• Provide the training to the NPDMS future users. Oil lifting coordination
• Design of the NPDMS with the support of HQ for Oil lifting planning
• Provide training and assistance to users list.
• Edit the oil export coordination associated relevant procedures.
Production phase
Production allocation
• Complete and validate the material balance performed by site production team on continuous and regular basis for production, injection, and emissions.
• Control the well application of the back allocation process and monitor the allocation factor on daily and monthly basis.
• Collaborate with Metering engineer and be aware of any metering system deviation/correction impacting the material balance.
Production reporting
• Prepare official report for Oil, Gas and LPG production and water injection.
• Prepare official reporting for 3rd parties and authorities.
• Support for GHG emissions monitoring, dashboards with KPIs and reporting.
• Control input data and correction factors to NPDMS data.
• Follow the Production performance indicators, Shortfalls, Production budgeting and forecasts.
• Oil lifting coordination
• Responsible for Oil lifting planning and coordination.
• Coordinate oil lifting of the exported oil with Trading department and with Kabaale and Tanga terminal operators
• Coordinate interfaces between key stakeholders linked to Production allocation, Production reporting, metering such as Business and Development, Commercial, Reservoir, Process, Well Performance, HSE and Maintenance.
• Coordinate interfaces with Kingfisher, the refinery, Kabaale and the pipeline operator and with Tanga terminal. Interfaces
• Ensure interface with Well Performance and production team for forecast preparation.
• Ensure interface with production team for production reporting and shortfalls justification.
Qualifications Experience
• Degree in Petroleum/Process/Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in process engineering, well performance or field operation in gas and/or oil refining and chemicals.
• Know-how in oil and gas operations.
• Ability to simultaneously manage several requests.
• Must have an aptitude for analyzing data and recognizing abnormal conditions.
• Must have good communication skills to work with Stakeholders and the Field.
