JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Pharmacist to join our team. As a Production Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in coordinating, planning, and overseeing all aspects of solid forms production activities. Your responsibilities will include training and supervising production staff, conducting investigations into production issues, implementing corrective actions, and contributing to long-term planning and decision-making.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Coordination:
• Plan and organize the manufacturing process in alignment with the finite production schedule.
• Implement operational manuals, production plans, and programs to ensure efficiency and quality.
• Ensure conformance of manufacturing processes with organizational objectives and policies.
Resource Management:
• Ensure the availability of adequate raw and packing materials, utilities, filters, and machine-size parts.
• Fulfill monthly and weekly production plans according to the schedule.
Quality Assurance:
• Monitor manufacturing activities to ensure compliance with cGMP standards.
• Maintain standard yields by closely overseeing production lines.
• Conduct pilot scale trials of products under development.
• Process Control:
• Control production processes and facilities to optimize efficiency and output.
• Conduct investigations into production issues and implement corrective actions.
Safety and Compliance:
• Enforce the use of safety gear (masks, gloves, and shoes) for the production team.
• Operate within high standards of GMP, HSE, environmental protection, and good working practices.
Team Supervision:
• Train and supervise production staff to ensure competency and adherence to protocols.
• Engage in manufacturing processes and dispense batches according to Batch Manufacturing Records (BMRs).
Qualifications & Experience
• A BSC in Chemistry, pharmacy, Biochemistry, or the related
• 3-5 years of production experience in a pharmaceutical Industry or related manufacturing industry.
• Experience working with Quality management systems
• Strong knowledge of cGMP standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to conduct investigations, implement corrective actions, and contribute to long-term planning.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
