A nonprofit Organization based in Kampala, Uganda that is involved in international Health, Health Systems and Human Resources for health, needs to fill the following positions:

Program Officer (1)
Job Title: Program Officer, Health Systems Advocacy Partnership (HSAP) project.
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Program Officer (Po) will join a team of highly experienced professionals and will report to the Executive Director,

• He/she will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of the HSAP project at the head office, and regional programs in Kenya, Uganda and Zambia.
•  He/she will contribute to the overall management, reporting, information flow and organizational planning of the Organization.

Minimum Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Public Health or equivalent health related qualifications.
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience, including experience in Sexual and Reproductive Health related work. -Excellent writing and Resource Mobilization skills
• Prior experience of working with Civil Society Organizations CSO is an added advantage
• Ability to liaise with stakeholders and partners including government, civil society organizations, private sector, international Organizations and other organizations to steer the project.
• Must possess strong managerial and leadership skills, interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate the project and the organizations’ activities.
