JOB DETAILS:
Knowledge, skills & key responsibilities.
1. Must be a born-again Christian who is a model in word, deed, lifestyle and demonstrates involvement in Church ministry.
2. Must poses all the Knowledge, skills and requirements desired of the child development officer above
3. Have capacity and experience to direct the day to day running of the activities of the project for effective implementation of the program.
4. Be in position to assist the Overseer in implementing the standards of the partnership agreement as the lead technical staff within the partnership.
5. Have experience in maintaining books of accounts including cashbooks, voucher registers, posting entries to various accounts. This includes Compiling Project financial statements, including fund balance summary and expense summaries, reconciliation sheets for specific accounts, bank reconciliation and budget reports.
6. Should have experience and capacity to prepare and submit reports to the church leadership and Compassion.
7. Should have vast experience to challenge, motivate and encourage the church to think of other ways of mobilizing resources that can provide sound learning opportunities for children in all areas of child development in order to prevent creating a dependency syndrome.
8. Skills in Project planning and management as well as a training in counseling and child development will be an added advantage.
9. Previous supervisory experience desired.
