JOB DETAILS:
Mukono Diocese is looking for a qualified person preferably female to fill the post of a project officer in one of the diocesan projects called Najja child centered development project located in Najja sub county Buikwe district. The project officer will be reporting to the project manager. .

Specific competences;
At least a bachelor's degree in social work, community development and any other related social science disciplines from a recognized University with working experience of at least three years in donor funded community development projects, able to ride the motocycle. Knowledge and skills in child rights advocacy is an added advantage.

Key roles and responsibilities;
• Work with project manager to initiate and coordinate the planning of specific project activities in liaison with community structures.
• Assist the project team to update the data base for beneficiaries, prepare periodic work plans, reports on project activities and ensure that project goal and objectives are achieved.
• Plan and organize capacity building trainings for community
• based child protection structures and other duty bearers in child protection.
• Train, monitor, report and follow up on activities for children, youths, women and other project beneficiaries.
• Perform any other official duties that may be assigned from time to time by the supervisor.
