JOB DETAILS:
Job Title: Public Relations Officer (PRO
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Job Summary:
The Public Relations Officer (PRO) to organize and oversee PR activities and ensure effective
communication with stakeholders, media and the public to enhance visibility and goodwill towards
the organization .

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provide/ assist marketing of the Association to increase membership and increase visibility.
• Maintain and manage Local members’ computerized database and other records of the
• Association
• Manage the maintenance of a high quality, regularly updated and interactive corporate
• website and other new social media channels.
• Research, designing, writing and/ or producing presentations, press releases, articles, leaflets
• ‘in house’ journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for websites and promotional
• videos for the Association to increase visibility and sources of income.
• Writing and editing in-house magazines, case studies, speeches, articles and annual reports.
• Prepare, Plan and manage all the Associations and members’ promotional materials to
• Association’s brand.
• Manage all the corporate social media channels by informing members and affiliated partners
• about the association and about events and marketing relevant events.
• Mobilization of members according to the development/ structure of the association, including
• organizing events, meetings and gatherings.
• Production of corporate Newsletters to improve intra-members’ communications and
• information about the company life; distribution of news to members.
• Coordinate the Association’s organized social gatherings as requested by the CEO/ board.
• Organize promotional events such as press conferences, open days, exhibitions, tours and
• visits.
• Follow up meetings and agenda of Association as part of Public Relations in coordination with
• the CEO and relevant board structures.
• Keep relations with medias and organize press conferences and media events for the
• association when requested.
• Plan for and coordinate the implementation of the company Corporate Social Responsibility
• and ensure positive publicity in print and electronic media.
• Prepare the unit’s annual budget and ensure optimal resource utilization


Requirements:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mass Communication, Public Relations,
• Journalism, Marketing, Arts or any related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in similar field.
• Fluency in both spoken and written English.
• Excellent Computer skills and knowledge in MS office.
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills.
• Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills
• Demonstrated leadership and negotiations skills
• Demonstrated partnership and business development skills
• Photography and videography skills.
• Knowledge on social media and website management

Job Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma


Job Experience: Three years


Work Hours: 8
