About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Q-Sourcing Servtec Group is looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Materials Supervisor for one of our clients CNOOC Uganda.
Location: Kampala, Lake Albert production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.

Primary function:
• To provide effective and efficient field support services to the drilling operation.
• To follow Company’s material management regulation, manage material and keep good record for materials in or out.
Responsibilities:
• Visually inspect, examine and accept the material with technical personnel under Company’s Purchasing Orders or Agreements.
• Visually inspect and clean up the remaining material and return them into the storage.
• Prepare the material according to the Material Requisition Record and make sure it can be transported by road without damage or deterioration.
• Maintain an updated Inventory record for materials in Warehouse / Yard.
• Keep all materials in good storage condition to avoid any damage.
• Arrange termly housekeeping for warehouse & yard.
• Ensuring the contractors deliver the goods, works and/or service in conformance with the contract document requirements, save related documents.
• Liaise with Drilling Engineers, Superintendents and Supervisors to prepare equipment for present and future drilling operational requirements.
• Analyze operational requirements and develop concept of support plan and management tools to enable and assess implementation.
• Other duties assigned by Logistics Superintendent.

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Petroleum engineering, drilling and completion, planning, management or the related.
• At least 5 years related working experience with 3 years in materials management.
Knowledge:
• Familiar with drilling & completion operation and related logistics practices prevailing;
• Be familiar with operating SAP software system; proficient in operating Microsoft Office software.
• Knowledge of declaration, import and export transportation.
• Extensive knowledge of warehouse operation.
• Experience of oil E&P.
