About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Q-Sourcing Servtec Group is looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Training and Development Supervisor for one of our clients CNOOC Uganda.
Location: Kampala, Lake Albert production installation base or other cities in Uganda if required.

Primary function:
• Support the Training Manager in planning, implementing and monitoring of Training programs for the Company.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out a Training Needs Analysis to guide the preparation and implementation of the training plan in line with the company’s training objectives.
• Develop a 3-5 years training matrix in line with career development and succession planning and continuously update it.
• Create annual budgets for all costs associated with training and prepare detailed training reports.
• Periodically evaluate ongoing training programs to ensure they reflect the intended objectives.
• Participate and provide technical support in the review of T&D systems, policies and procedures.
• Design and deliver engaging learning sessions for staff using various instructional strategies.
• Develop and implement Career Development Programs for staff.
• Foster and maintain productive working relationships with external service providers, training facilitators, academic institutions, consultants and internal subject matter experts.
• Maintain an updated training records database.
• Continuously introduce initiatives to improve the effectiveness of the T&D function by staying abreast of new trends and tools.
• Perform other duties assigned by the supervisor

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources Management, Industrial psychology, or the related.
• At least 5 years related working experience preferably in the oil & gas industry.
Knowledge:
• Proven experience in designing multiple training events in a corporate setting
• Extensive Knowledge of full training cycle
• Extensive knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles.
• Ability to conduct cost benefit analysis and calculate training ROI
• Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and technique
• Familiarity with developing training calendar and matrix
• Understanding of oil E&P.

Bachelor Degree
