CONSULTANCY FIRM OPPORTUNITY AT MUCOBADI

Multi Community Based Development Initiative (MUCOBADI) is a local NGO founded in 2000 by Community Development Volunteers to bring development, particularly to support people living with HIV to be productive. MUCOBADI is registered as a Non-Government Organization (S.5914/7698) and incorporated as a company limited by guarantee.

MUCOBADI implements the USAID/ICARE project in East Central Uganda, targeting 47,871 OVC and their households across 10 districts of Jinja, Kamuli, Mayuge, Bugiri, Iganga, Buyende, Namayingo, Bukwo, Kayunga, Mukono, and Jinja district. Key services include prevention of new HIV infections, reducing vulnerability among HIV-affected households, and preventing violence against children.

Key interventions in the USAID/ICARE project focus on strengthening parenting skills, promoting positive child and adolescent development, and preventing violence against children.

This consultancy work is under Sub Purpose 3:
Entrepreneurship Skills for High-Risk Adolescents.

MUCOBADI has secured Power Africa funding to integrate productive energy use (PUE) in the agriculture and household economic strengthening USAID/ICARE Activity. Through this activity, MUCOBADI aims to stimulate economic transformation by promoting PUE applications in agricultural and health facilities.

MUCOBADI seeks experienced and qualified firms to conduct a feasibility study and market analysis for the integration of PUE for agriculture and health.
