PROJECT DESCRIPTION
WaterAid's vision is of a world where everyone everywhere has access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) in the World’s poorest communities. WaterAid works through supporting local organisations and government authorities to design and demonstrate a appropriate and sustainable WASH programmes. WaterAid also seeks to influence policy change through government and other key sector actors to secure and protect the rights of poor people to safe, affordable water and sanitation services.

The positions will report to the Specific Unit Heads, based in Kampala

Quality Assurance Manager

  • Develop (M&E) systems within the Country Program CP) an its partners, building their capacity in M&E, and promoting PMER
    Knowledge transfer internal and external to WaterAid Uganda.
  • Principle responsibilities: progamme standards, development monitoring and evaluation, networking and partnerships, monitoring and reporting, management planning, reporting and accountability

The Quality Assurance Manager will:

  • Provides visible leadership or program quality across the programe, through promoting and adopting procedures and related materials to implement quality programmes, and drive increased accountability to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the development of methods, approaches and tools for research and Evaluation and other approaches for improve accountability
  • Lead the adaption or development of specific planning, assessment, monitoring and evaluation and reporting tools for consistent and quality data collection, coherent with and reinforcing WaterAid guidelines tor M&E and reporting.
  • Coordinates reviews oi country programme progress and performance on a quarter and
  • Serve as a principal technical and managerial resource person in designing development and implementation of M& systems, a roaches and tools that facilitate assessment, learning and knowledge management

Education, experience and skills:

  • Bachelors degree in M&E. MPH, Programme Management Social Sciences, Developmental Studies
  • A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience 4 years supervisory and programme management experience in M&E
  • Strong writing skills, including experience In producing proposals, reports, and other
  • Detailed knowledge of logtrame-based project design. monitoring and evaluation.'
