Quality Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities
• Overseeing and monitoring the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
• Establishes inspection protocols, defines sampling procedures, and determines equipment mechanisms to be used in the testing process.
• Responsible for the quality levels of multidisciplinary field works such as civil, piping, equipment, steel structures, electrical and instrumentation etc. In this role, you will be able.
• Develop, implement, and manage the quality control systems designed to ensure construction, installation and assembly operations are undertaken in compliance with the contractual obligations, procedures, and applicable standards
• Supervise a team of quality control advisors and coordinate the project objectives in cooperation with other departments to maximize reliability and minimize costs.
• Identifies all non – conformances and records and reports as necessary.
• Performs QA/QC inspection on and off–site.
• Performs in-progress and final inspection of maintenance performed to ensure all quality standards have been met.
• Performs raw material and parts inspection
• Prepares all necessary forms and paperwork needed.
• Inspects for proper use of tools, proper repairs, and proper adjustments.
• Develops inspection and test plans.
• Witness quality tests on behalf of the project.
• Performs all other positions related duties as assigned or requested


Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline.
• 7 years of relevant experience in QC and QA on a major infrastructure project in the energy, construction, oil and gas or any other relevant sector
• Professional training in quality management such as ISO 9001 and NDT
• Professional registration with a national or international body
• Strong experience in quality control, manufacturing, and inspection within the oil and gas industry, or mechanical or construction industry.
• Experience with APIQ1 Oil and GAS standard
• Experience with ISO9001 Standards and ISO9001 audits
• Experience with Customer and supplier audits
• Advanced knowledge of inspection processes
• Working knowledge of metal fabricating
• Must be a self-starter, be organized and have good interpersonal skills.
• Be detail-oriented, flexible, and highly motivated, and have a strong work ethic and professional demeanour.
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks efficiently and accurately,
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and
• Must be a team player but able to work independently, to meet intense deadlines, goals, and objectives.
