JOB DETAILS:
A Ugandan registered and Licensed Organization in the Construction industry is looking for competent Quantity Surveyors to fill a number of positions.

Educational Qualification and Experience
• Bachelor of Science in Building Economics/ Quantity Surveying.
• Over Ten (10) year's working experience in a similar role in a prominent/big company.
• Registration with the relevant professional body is an added advantage.

Skills and Competences
• Result-oriented, communication skills, interpersonal skills, records management skills and knowledge of computer programs, professional skills, and good behavioral competencies.
• Additional skills in Primavera, Build Pro, and other Construction/QS-related software.

Responsibilities
• Plan, control, and coordinate the projects and resources.
• Assist in all matters relating to the financial and contractual aspects of the project. 3. Assist in finalizing the contractor's monthly payment certificates.
• Streamline all cost and quantity records.
• Assist in the preparation of variation orders.
• Participate in structuring and formatting common bid responses
• Ensure completeness and validity of all contractual requirements.
• Liaise with the supervisor to ensure the prompt submittal and completeness of valuations.
• Monitor contracts' final cost estimates.
• Assist in the review, negotiation and preparation of claim settlements with the Contracts Department
• Participate in the preparation of Final Account with all supporting documentation
