JOB DETAILS:
R3 Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities
• Supporting the R3 Security Country Manager with ensuring the journey management systems and processes, medical evacuation plans, and security programme for the staff for all works is in place.
• Ensure that the program is effective and monitored to ensure optimization and the employees on the project are covered.
• Ensures all safety rules and requirements are met and is expected to be a leader for safety program implementation.
• Responsible for programs and techniques to enhance safety awareness and maintain employee motivation in regard to safety.
• Maintains familiarity with current state and federal environmental compliance and OSHA regulations applicable to the department.
• Maintains necessary documentation on safety related items involving historical data, training of employees and other safety related items.
• Develop and conduct weekly & monthly safety meetings.
• Conduct safety related training with current and new employee & maintain safety records.
• Assist with the investigation and reporting of close calls, first aids, and TIR’S.
• Attend divisional Safety Coordinator workshops.
• Responsible for maintaining plant First Responders Team and ensuring all certifications are current
• Responsible for the safety orientation of new employees.
• Leads R3 (Residual Risk Reduction) process and drives R3 completion based on hazard identification.


Qualifications and Experience
• Previous experience working within the Oil and Gas industries or other national / multinational corporation that adheres to international standards.
• 5 years’ experience in security and/or emergency management related field.
• Previous experience required in similar role and/or industry (project specific) related field
• Knowledgeable, familiar, and commensurate experience with the HSE operating environment.
• An ‘Incident Free’ mind-set, and be a role model for their project team (Direct/Indirect hires);
• Excellent teamwork & skills being able to work with the various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interests of the integrated project team
