JOB DETAILS:
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To teach, supervise students, conduct research, publish and participate in community engagement activities.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS
• Should have acquired a PhD either in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Leisure or Recreation studies from a recognized academic institution of higher learning.
• Should possess a Masters in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Leisure or Recreation studies from a recognized academic institution of higher learning Should possess a Bachelors degree in Tourism, Hospitality Management, Leisure or Recreation studies from a recognized academic institution of higher learning.
• Should have a clear and good track record of relevant research (publications), teaching and community services of at least 5 years.
• Should have a minimum of five (5) years of teaching or industrial experience at a recognized academic institution of higher learning, three (3) of which should have been at the level of a Lecturer, or its equivalent.
• Should have at least three (3) scientific internationally peer- reviewed research publications in the relevant discipline. Should have supervised at least three (3) graduate students to completion, with preferably one (1) at PhD level. Should have the ability to provide academic research leadership
