JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
The job holder shall be accountable for forecasting staffing needs of all bank functions and design a talent acquisition pipeline/program to effectively and efficiently provide high quality human resources at the right time. This shall be done in line with the Human Resource Policies and talent acquisition standards of the bank.
Accountable for guiding the implementation of the Bank’s Human Resource strategy and implementation of all supporting policies and procedures.
Guides the banks leadership team on implementation of key.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /KEY DELIVERABLES
• Prepare Annual Human Resource Plans in line with the Bank Annual Business Plan and strategy.
• Review and confirm Job Descriptions with business and design job advertisements suitable for a variety of media platforms.
• Conduct pre-shortlisting interviews, generate preliminary short lists and engage business for final short lists.
• Arrange for suitable interviews, prepare interview packs and logistical requirements.
• Arrange for and conduct interviews with hiring Managers.
• Prepare Offer Letters and Contracts for successful candidates.
• Develop and maintain a database of applicants with minimum job requirements.
• Create and maintain a functioning internal pipeline of successful candidates in critical roles to minimize Turn Around Time in the sourcing process.
• Conduct benchmarks and Salary Surveys to establish market trends and advise Management on new developments in talent attraction and retention strategies.
• Explain/answer questions to potential recruits relating to benefits, Bank policies and general conditions of employment.
• Manage the complete cycle of the Graduate Trainee Management Program
• Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• The ideal candidate should have a bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Industrial & Organizational Psychology or any other closely related discipline attained from a recognized academic Institution.
• Possession of a Post graduate qualification(s) in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, Management or a related field is ad added advantage.
• Professional membership is an added advantage.
• Specialised training in Psychometric testing or other forms of interviewing techniques is an added advantage.
• The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years working experience, 3 of which should be in Talent Acquisition/Recruitment in a fast paced environment in a reputable commercial oriented organization.
• The ideal candidate should have strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
• The ideal candidate should demonstrate possession of an eye for talent.
• Demonstrable leadership potential and ability to influence both staff and senior members of management.
• The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in a professional manner is deemed essential.
• High level of planning and organization skills.
• Possession of analytical and attention to detail attributes.
• Strong skills in employee relations management.
• Must be a person of impeccable integrity.
