Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Source for bancassurance business and IPF deals to achieve the bank’s set targets i.e., New to Bank General business, Life insurance through the deployed branch sales teams, and nurturing relationships with RMs and Customers to grow IPF.
• Improve the Bank’s market share of bancassurance & IPF business in the region.
• Follow up on all regional renewals 3 months ahead of time.
• Ensure timely insurance premium payment as per the prevailing IRA premium payment guidelines.
• Actively participate in Bancassurance and IPF Sales Activation programs organized by the Bank and Insurers in conjunction with Bancassurance.
• Supervision of all insurance sales staff at the branches by monitoring their individual performances, carrying out branch trainings, and organizing sales activations to boost business growth.
• Attend at least one business units’ weekly meeting where you share a pipeline of prospects, and handle customer complaints.
• Ensure that all insurance business is booked under bancassurance.
• Comply with the KCB Bancassurance Policy, manual and all availed Bank manuals that directly or indirectly support the Bancassurance function.
DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure timely sourcing of insurance quotations, placing insurance covers, delivery of policy documents, and claims handling and settlement.
• Supervise the Sales agents in the different branches of the region through meetings, product trainings (including IPF), products activations.
• Ensure all client documentation, queries and complaints are forwarded to the relevant offices within the stipulated time for processing.
• Prepare relevant performance reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, & annual) to the Bancassurance Manager.

Education
• Bachelor’s degree
• A relevant bachelor’s degree
Professional Qualifications
• Certificate in Insurance CIU. Diploma in Insurance DIU/Dip CII is an added advantage.
