Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences; or Social Work and Social Administration; or Economics; or Development Studies; or Information Technology from a recognized University / Institution

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Registration Officer for performing the following duties:-
- Registering new and renewing registration of existing NGOs;
- Verifying demographic; coverage and financial information of NGOs;
- Providing technical support and advice on NGO registration activities;
- Classifying NGO registration and filing registration records;
- Carrying out file census;
- Collecting data for development of registration methodologies; technologies and standards;
- Providing data for documentation and production of periodic reports on NGO registration activities;
- Updating the register and database of registered NGOs;
- Carrying out research in order to facilitate NGO registration;

- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
