JOB DETAILS:
JOB PURPOSE
To build and manage rapport with corporate institutions so as to ensure optimum customer retention and strengthening bank’s corporate brand.
Ensuring delivery of industry leading customer service and advisory service to new and existing corporate customers.
Income generation through sales of assets, liabilities and cash management products of the bank.
Grow and expand the bank’s wallet share among high net-worth /Corporate clients
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES /KEY DELIVERABLES
• Recruit and bring on board workplace clients, Parastatal and other bankable institutions.
• Promote and maintain the highest standards of customer service in order to maximize returns from existing relationships.
• Generate sales of assets to workplaces and other entities.
• Ensure accumulation of deposits by way of generating cheap & stable deposit base.
• Periodically arrange mobilization meetings across the country to realize build-up of corporate customers.
• Build Customer base for all the bank’s branches.
• Constantly explore the enhancement of the banks brand name so that the bank holds out to the target market as one of the best in the public sector.
• Ensure clients are able to monitor their accounts using internet banking.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
• A Business degree in finance, Commerce, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, management or any relevant field.
• Possession of a Certified banking qualification or master's degree in a relevant field would be an added advantage.
• Relevant Practical training in business growth in the financial services sector
• Must have critical thinking, analytical, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Banking environment with at least 3 years in the relationship management function.
• Business Development Skills, Customer service skills, Relationship/People Management Skills, Negotiation Skills, Leadership skills, Marketing, Selling and Strong Credit analysis skills.
• The ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in written form in a professional manner is deemed essential.
• Ability to build functioning working relationships across organizational, corporate, and cultural boundaries.
• Takes clear accountability, and focuses on delivery of broader corporate goals.
• Ability to take decisions and progress towards goals in conditions of uncertainty.
• Ability to demonstrate positive image and role model PBU’s values and leadership behaviours.
• Must be a person of impeccable integrity
