We're Hiring: Research Officer

Job Overview
The Research Officer will play a key role in conducting data-driven studies, literature reviews, and qualitative and quantitative research to inform decision-making processes and contribute to organizational success. This role requires a mix of technical, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and deliver high-quality outputs.

Requirements
To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Educational Qualifications
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines:
o Statistics
o Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E)
o Related fields with a strong focus on research and data analysis.
Technical Skills and Experience
• Demonstrated expertise in research methodologies:
o Conducting comprehensive literature reviews.
o Performing quantitative and qualitative research.
• Proficiency in using statistical software:
o Examples: SPSS, Stata, R.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including:
o Word (document preparation and formatting).
o Excel (data analysis and presentation).
o PowerPoint (creating professional presentations).
Personal Attributes
• Strong self-management abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional IT skills and willingness to adapt to new tools and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
The Research Officer’s primary duties will include:
• Designing and conducting research projects.
• Analyzing data and presenting findings in reports, presentations, or publications.
• Assisting in project monitoring and evaluation processes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the accuracy and relevance of research outcomes.
