Our Safari product specialises in creating tailored adventures to/in Uganda and other East African Countries.
We are well organized in this safari field and Our Unique Selling Position is the fact that we make it very easy to book a safari through digital tools and our safari teams are all professionals in this area.
Overview of the Role:
The key to our success is based around our team. We partner with highly skilled and experienced individuals and give them the tools to build success. We are now calling for a partnership opportunity as Safaris Managing Partner who will work to ensure the success of the product.
This partnership is based on percentage share of the profits realized which is a much better compensation than a monthly salary if you have the required skills and experience. You are mostly working remotely with the other team members to meet goals.
Roles:
• Communicating with clients via email, phone, and in meetings in the office
• Liaising with clients, listening carefully, and designing exciting tailor-made safari itineraries to reflect clients’ interests
• Taking full ownership for and pride in the quality and accuracy of each safari you design
• Managing enquiries, tasks and workload to maintain Lafab Safari service standards
• Providing exceptional levels of customer service at all stages of the process – service levels are the core of our company.
• Plan advertising and marketing campaigns for products or services on a variety of media (social, print etc.)
• Managing the Google Display and Search Adverts and Social Media Accounts.
• Advising the management of appropriate marketing strategies with the aim to increase safari sales.
• Establishing new marketing route sales that could help the Company to bring more potential customers on board.
• Keeping management informed by submitting sales and marketing weekly work plans, and sending sales reports weekly and monthly.
• Monitoring competitors by doing marketing research and using the data to improve our Safaris services.
• Managing and supervising the safari field trips and ensuring a great experience for our clients.
• Manage the Lafab Safari blog and contribute to articles or oversee contributors
• Representing the Company in various Safaris and tour exhibitions as well as participating in Safaris-related events in order to market our brand.
Preferred Experience:
• First-hand knowledge of Safari Industry, gained from working and/or living within East Africa
• Experience selling cross-country Safari in East Africa
• Excellent communication skills, including pleasant telephone manner
• Strong customer service skills, with an eye for detail
• Proactive, self-motivated and focused
• A passion for Africa and a desire to become a genuine Africa safari expert, drawing on your own knowledge and experiences to offer clients the best possible advice
