SALE OF USED ASSETS BY PUBLIC AUCTION
World Vision Uganda informs the general public that there will be disposal by public auction for used assets like furniture, office equipment, computer equipment, mobile phones among others in various locations indicated below;
1. Central Region, Kampala at plot 404, Bweyogerere Off Jinja Rd, Kampala on 20th Aug 2024 at 10am.
2. Northern Regional Office, Gulu at plot 22A, Jobi 11 Rd, Goans Quarters, Kasubi, Gulu City on 21st Aug 2024 at 10am.
Conditions for Sale
• Participants will be required to pay in advance (before day of auction) a refundable deposit of Ugx 200,000 to be allowed access into the venue. Proof of payment will be required at the gate.
• Payment for assets shall be strictly through mobile money or bank provided by WVU. (Procedure for mobile money payment is available at WV offices (Auctioning Points).
• Mobile Money number and Bank details will be provided at the point of Auction.
• A 3% charge on amount being paid will be applicable to all mobile money payments.
• Full Payment and collection of items shall be on the same day of auction.
• Items shall be viewed for 10days (1st to 14th Aug 2024 during working hours).
• Identity documents shall be required from participants to be allowed entry to the auction venue.
• Items shall be sold on "as is where is basis without warranties. WVU accepts no liability "imposed or otherwise for the condition of the items
