JOB DETAILS:

The Employee’s position is that of ‘Sales Associate’. Our Sales Associates are vital to the success of the company. You will bring an authentic, fun and energetic experience to all customers while helping them find the most suitable eyewear. The Sales Associate uses the training, Staff codes and Guidelines and Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) to deliver the highest Customer Service while driving sales and having success. You will work with an exceptionally driven, customer-obsessed team. You will act as the company evangelist on the leading edge of a young but growing industry.

Responsibilities
This position reports to the company Sales Team Leader with the day-to-day tasks, including:

1. Participate in all company training and master and adhere to all staff codes and SOPs to develop the desired set of skills and attitudes in the company team.
2. Develop expert knowledge of the company and its products to address user inquiries that include, but are not limited to: collection, materials, names, gender, shapes, uses and pricing.
3. Consistently deliver sales plan and company objectives through cultivating new and existing customer relationships and building brand loyalty.
4. Confidently provides an exceptional customer experience through making a connection, attention to detail and offering a personalized and unique shopping experience resulting in customer satisfaction.
5. Actively participates and contributes to a positive store environment, fostering strong, professional relationships with peers and management.
6. Takes pride in the appearance of the store and shows initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive and organized. Secures all company assets under one’s control.
7. It helps foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect and equality.
8. Addressing and resolving operations problems and customer complaints in a professional and solution-focused manner to build a culture of care and customer connection.
9. Work diligently to offer or restore a positive experience with each individual customer.
10. Actively track customer pain points to identify possible lasting solutions.
11. Monitor forum answers and respond on behalf of the company to posts or comments that didn’t receive a response.
12. Creatively and proactively assist customers through multiple contact channels within given guidelines – sometimes simultaneously.
13. Be current on new offerings and issues of the company. Understand current processes and policies.
14. Identify and analyze issues, patterns and trends in customer requests; assist leadership with surfacing these findings to the appropriate business teams.
15. Escalate Systemic Issues and technical problems with appropriate focal points and follow up for speedy resolution.
16. Identify sensitive issues and collaborate with the appropriate stakeholders to create a response.
17. Serves as a role model by displaying good judgment, a positive work ethic, strong interpersonal skills, adherence to company policies, and a commitment to excellent customer service.
18. Ensure that you seek and obtain feedback from all customers and feed it into the Feedback Management System. Act on negative feedback immediately and post positive feedback on respective.
19. Work collaboratively with the SOP Leads to ensure smooth operation at both the Online and the Brick and Mortar Shops (B&M).
20. Work in sync with the in-shop and online teams to enable fast pick-ups, drop-offs and cross-selling and promotions between the two units.
21. Participate in all routine meetings, present reports and meet all targets as agreed with your supervisors.
22. Perform any other duties as required.


Requirements and skills

1. Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Associate or a similar role
2. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
3. Proficiency in English
4. Basic Math skills
5. Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements
6. Track record of over-achieving sales quota
7. Hands-on experience with POS transactions
8. Familiarity with inventory procedures
9. Solid communication and interpersonal skills
10. A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus
11. Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner
12. Availability to work flexible shifts
13. High school degree; BS degree in Marketing or related field would be a plus
Please note, you’ll be entitled to a weekly allowance of 70,000/= and a gross pay of 900,000/=
