Job Description
To receive and respond to all customer complaints/needs with at most quality and efficiency with the aim of customer satisfaction and customer retention in line with UAP Old Mutual policies and procedures.
• To receive all incoming calls at the switchboard.
• To warmly welcome and greet visitors by directing them to their respective destinations.
• To maintain a safe and clean reception area.
• To attend to all customers with at most quality and efficiency.
• To welcome customers/clients to the UAP Old Mutual offices, assist them in making appointments, making them comfortable and directing them to the appropriate staff or service.
• To respond and initiate contact with customers with the aim of attending to their needs through face to face and phone interactions in a professional and efficient manner.
• To handle customer complaints and needs with the approved level of service and urgency to enhance customer satisfaction.
• To maintain customer loyalty and retention through educating & cross selling UAP Old Mutual products and services during customer interactions.
• To maintain a safe and clean reception area.
• To receive, sort and distribute mail, newspapers within the office; file correspondence and other materials in line with the policies and procedures.
• To maintain a positive and professional relationship with co-workers, clients and visitors; cultural sensitivity and ability to relate well and effectively in a diverse work place and with a diverse client population.
• Dispatch all out going parcels and documents with the courier service or the company Messenger
• To act in the capacity of Executive Secretary from time to time.
• To respond courteously to immediate needs of visitors and in-coming calls with the ability to establish priorities and maintain productivity despite numerous interruptions.
• To perform any other duties assigned from time to time.
