JOB DETAILS:
Position Summary
Responsible and accountable for the management of the field sales team selling through distributor channels, whole sellers and stockists & door-to-door sales.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for the “go-to-market” strategic plan for the current customer base as well as expansion to other regions nationwide. The Sales Manager will be responsible for ensuring a premium and consistent customer experience across the trade area. .

Principal Accountabilities
• Accountable for the strategic national sales plans based on internal objectives, Marketing and Trade Marketing plans as well as external competitive market place issues and opportunities.
• Determines the regional Account strategy with a special focus on distributor and business partner recruitment, retention and development across the Sales bands.
• Ensures maximization of sales Call Coverage within all trade areas tracking frequency, coverage and distribution objectives.
• Accountable for resource deployment based on sub-channel priorities and strategies i.e. distributor, whole sale, stockists, Supermarkets, pharmaceutical sales points with special emphasis on coverage and frequency to align to regional priorities.
• Handles sensitive matters within the largest regional customers and distributors, as well as the execution of the regional plan through team members. Should innovate around customer engagement mechanisms that strengthen Noura’s position in the market place.
• Ensures high brand visibility for Noura’s products within the trade area enforcing top notch merchandising standards for all the product ranges.
• Monthly reporting deliverables – POS activity, POS assessment, demo spot check, competitive intelligence, promotions audit
• Seek opportunities for collaborations and business development during Trade visits.
Channel Partner Recruitment and Development
• Consistently seek for potential new channel partners and ensure Potential New partner file is kept updated and properly maintained.
• Screen channel partner applications; interview prospective channel partners who have already gone through a screening process; make the final decision on selection together with the Managing Director.
• Develop and execute an annual Channel Partner development plan
• Prepare and review with the Managing an internal annual assessment of Channel Partner performance and Channel Partner development plan.
Training – Channel partners and field Staff Training
• Identify training needs for the channel partners and their staff; agree training program with channel partners and steward execution.
• Be informed through regular updates from management on the training courses and participate in new training modules to maintain knowledge of the courses offered
• Steward the participation of field sales team and channel partners’ teams in agreed training.

• Strong communication skills


Required Qualifications:
• Completion of a University Business Degree, with a focus on business administration, sales/marketing, Accounting.
• 3-5 years of progressive sales experience, preferably from within the FMCG sector with a track record of delivering results.

• Strong problem solving skills and strategic business thinking.
• Previous people management/coaching & development experience is preferred.
• Competencies must include strong

• Advanced computer skills
