Responsibilities
• The Sales Manager is responsible for growing Upstream Ltd products and services revenue streams through achievement of set sales targets
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, ensuring visibility and delivery of high quality customer service to the existing and potential clients.
• S/he develops business plans and strategies to attain sales, customer experience goals and profitability.
• S/he identifies business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options, selling products by establishing contacts and developing relationships with prospects and recommending solutions.
• The Sales Manager maintains relationships with partners, clients by providing support, information, and guidance, researching and recommending new opportunities, and recommending profit and service improvements.
• S/he identifies product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends, market activities, and Upstream Ltd competitors.
Qualifications
• An Undergraduate degree preferably in Sales and Marketing
• A Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing/Commercial focus will be an added advantage.
• Details of experience
• At least five (5) years of proven sales track record in a senior role within a highly commercial environment with demonstrable experience in managing sales teams to achieve targets
• Experienced in B2B sales, marketing and strategic analysis ·
• Experience researching market trends, targeting relationships and using proven methods to develop business strategy while retaining marketing partners
