JOB DETAILS:
Farm Source Ltd (FSL) is a private limited Firm established in 2006 to provide Veterinary Medicines, Agricultural Chemicals, improved seeds, and extension services. To date, the firm has expanded into six sales outlets and it operates three farms engaged in mixed farming and a nursery bed. Effective 2017, a new business model was developed aimed at turning around the Company into Agricultural production.
Job Title: Sales Representative-Veterinary
Reporting To: Veterinary Officer
Responsible for: None
Salary Grade: F4
Job Purpose: To market and sell modern, productive and sustainable veterinary products, practices and technologies.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Participate in developing marketing strategies/plans and operational plans
- Participate in developing price reviews for Company veterinary products and services for discussion by management.
- Market and sell veterinary products that the company acquires both locally and internationally
- Links customers, farmers to the company and introduces its products
- Develop and maintain a detailed customer database for forward to supervisor’s
- Follow up customers to ensure increased sales of Veterinary products, and also for easy and accurate planning and tracking
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports on sales made, customer interactions, and any other related issues/feedback
- Develop and distribute educational materials on various veterinary products
Personal Specification
A Diploma in Animal Health, Animal Husbandry or its equivalent from a recognized Institution.
- Possession of Diploma in Marketing or international business or business administration or related qualification from a recognized institution will be an added advantage
