JOB DETAILS:
Job summary:
The sales supervisor manages and directs the sales agent to prospect and recruit new home subscribers in his area of assignment to participate in the growth of the turnover.

The supervisor ensures the contribution of sales agent to the development of subscriber satisfaction and the increase of the subscriber base by valuing offers and product. The Sales supervisor is responsible for the performance of his team.

He/she plans, organizes, controls the work of a team of sales agents. The supervisor operationally supervises his/her teams in their role of technical and commercial assistance, guarantees the quality standards in the execution of all the tactical and strategic commercial actions related to the product development, the implementation of the "Sales pipeline", the competitive intelligence, etc. He/She implements the B2C sales organization by participating in the right recruitment. He/she carries the commercial objectives related to GVA Uganda sales activity (volume and customer value)

Key Roles and responsibilities
• Manages a team of sales agent.
• Induction of new sales agents in the sales process
• Lead door-to-door sales (Recruitment and Re-subscription) by sales agent.
• Daily morning briefing and facilitation of weekly meetings for updates
• Ensure daily coaching and periodic refresher of sales agents for good communication on products and services.
• Collect customer complaints from sales agents to escalate to customer service.
• Supervise market prospecting and competitive intelligence with his team.
• Monitoring of individual and collective performance.
• Implements the defined trade policy.
• Involve your team in commercial activities to boost sales.
• Mobilize the team to gather public feedback on the current campaign during sales interviews (sales pitch)
• Operational management of the sales agent
• Monitoring of the application of procedures (attendance, ethics, discipline, etc.).
• Ensure the daily deposit of sales receipts and stock control.
• Ensure the proper use of work materials and tools (vehicle, vest, uniform, flyers, etc.).
• Sales team performance Monitoring
• Daily analysis of VAD KPIs.
• Proposal of corrective actions and commercial animation plans.

Qualifications and experience
• University degree
• Experience managing a sales team or significant B2C sales experience, ideally in the ICT sector.

Technical skills:

• Ability to share experience and pass on knowledge.
• Mastery of B2C sales techniques.
• Comfortable with computer tools.
• Appetite for new technologies.
• Capacity to manage a team of sales agent.
• Business and relational skills.
• Be customer/result oriented.
• Be organized and autonomous.
• Having been a salesperson is an asset.
