Job Title: School Accountant

Key duties and responsibilities:

•  Monitor and maintain financial records.
  
• Prepare, process and maintain correspondence, records, reports, forms and work orders.
  
•  Monitor, maintain, receive and verify supplies, requisitions and equipment orders.
  
•  Understand and act in accordance with the school financial policies and procedures.
  
•  Maintain confidentiality.
  
•  Perform other duties as assigned.
  

Qualifications and skills

•  Minimum qualification
  
•  Diploma.
  
•  Experience of having worked in a school is an added advantage.
  
•  Demonstrate knowledge of accounting principles and procedures and software including word processing, spread sheets, and databases.
  
•  High degree of integrity with a God fearing character. 
• Effective communication skills in verbal, written and electronic format.
