JOB DETAILS:

We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic Librarian, with two or more years of experience acquired after University graduation, ideally in an educational setting, to run our Secondary library with effect from August 2023, or as soon as possible thereafter.

Qualifications, skills and experience:
• Degree in Library and Information Science (BLIS) or Library Science
• Proficient in using technology, including library software, cataloguing, databases & digital resources Knowledge of current educational trends and best practices in library services
• Supervise the care and maintenance of all books, tablets and other library resources
• Proficiency in promoting a reading culture and organising literacy initiatives within the school community
• Good computer literacy with excellent use of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) as well as a working knowledge of Google Apps and the confidence to work with IT
