UNCC is a semi-autonomous body established by an Act of Parliament (UNCC Act Cap 50). it is mandated to preserve, promote and popularize Art and Culture in Uganda and beyond. UNCC has an opening within its establishment which it wants to fill;

J0B ADVERT FDR THE SECURITY OFFICER
Post: Security Officer:
Reports to: Administrative Officer
Supervises: External Security
Main Purpose of the Job: Responsible for the general security of UNCC.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides leadership and supervision of the security team.
• Responsible for identification and assessment of security firms police performance in UNCC.
• Responsible for assessment of security situations and recommend appropriate response required.
• Supervises and confirms opening of the building in the morning and closing in the evenings.
• Checks patrons who are entering UNCC.
• Liaises with other security agencies
• Makes regular security reports on the Centre
• Advises on secure needs of the Centre

Minimum Qualifications.
• Must have a minimum UCE with relevant qualifications.
• Must have a training in one of the security courses in Uganda (Military, Police and /or Prisons).
• Must have been at a level ASP/ Captain while in Service

Work Experience.
• Should have at least five (5) years’ experience in security service in Government or private security organizations with a good record.
• Must have a certificate of good conduct.
