POSITION: Senior Accountant
Reports T0: Group Financial Controller
Job Profile
• Verify the entries posted by junior accountants tor accuracy
• Handle accounts payable reconciliations
• Handle Bank Reconciliations of local currency and foreign currency
• Handle filling VAT, PAYE, WHT, NSSF, LST and IT returns
• Processing payments to suppliers
• Any other work assigned from time to time
Requirements
• Graduate qualification in Accounts
• CPA or ACCA completed ‘
• Post graduate qualifications will be an added advantage.
• 5 years’ experience in accounting
• Hands on experience in tally, advanced skills in MS Excel and knowledge of tax laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) are preferred
