Job Title: Senior Analyst – Big Data & Analytics
Reports to: Senior Manager – IT Design
Division: Technology
No. of Vacancies: 1

Main Job Functions:
• Design, develop, optimize, and maintain data architecture and pipelines that adhere to principles and business goals
• Solve complex data problems to deliver insights that helps the organization’s business to achieve their goals
• Lead the evaluation, implementation and deployment of emerging tools and process for analytic data engineering in order to improve the organization’s productivity as a team
• Learn about machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics
• Understand the customer/business needs, system functionality and business processes to maintain the source data and develop the data design

Education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics/Data science.
• Relevant certification/accreditation as required for role

Experience:
• 3 years’ experience in relevant sector/industry/ area of specialization
• Expertise in data analysis and experience with at least one programming language
• Experience developing and maintaining data warehouses in big data solutions
• Experience with developing solutions on cloud computing services and infrastructure in the data and analytics space
• Database development experience y and experience with a variety of relational, database technologies
• Conceptual knowledge of data and analytics, such as dimensional modeling, reporting tools, data governance, data warehousing, structured and unstructured data.
• Big Data Development experience
• Deep understanding of data ingestion techniques and analytics processes to enable real-time BI
• Exposure to machine learning, data science, computer vision, artificial intelligence, statistics, and/or applied mathematics
