JOB DETAILS:
Job Overview:
The Senior D&A Associate is responsible for overseeing the quality and uptime of existing D&A data repositories, data engineering & reporting, managing the workflow of Data Analysts(s), leading ad hoc projects to build data visibility and systems in Processing, Distribution and Financial operational teams, and completing in-depth analysis for key insights into business problems.

Key Duties:
1. DATA ANALYSIS
• Ensure Quick real-time overview of Profitability and Efficiency Financial Rations to Support in Financial Analysis
• Quickly breaks down business problems into theoretical questions.
• Research best method to approach and undertakes analysis with quality.
• Applies existing data to business problems and evaluates areas of data unreliability.
• Presents findings in digestible, action-oriented terms.
• Completes in-depth statistical analysis in Excel, and has exposure to other packages: R, STATA, SPSS, etc.
2. DATA VISUALIZATION
• Designs visuals to the user of the report or dashboard
• Trains teams on practical use of visuals for decision-making
• Research best fit for visuals to communicate desired story.
• Fully proficient in Power BI software
3. DATABASE MANAGEMENT
• Builds data models that are understandable by other team members.
• Champions new data source types with consultation of online and team resources
• Fully proficient in M Query and DAX language for building output tables from databases
4. PROJECT MANAGEMENT
• Completes planning and design with intention and thoughtfulness at project initiation.
• Communicates with all project parties in a timely manner.
• Delegates effectively to subordinates and project partners.
5. TEAM MANAGEMENT
• Approaches trainings with hands-on facilitation to ensure positive results.
• Offers timely and helpful feedback to direct reports and supervisor.
• Completes 1:1s, OKR review, and semi-annual reviews with subordinates.
• Manages communications with third-party service providers and developers as needed.
• Champions learning initiatives to expand D&A capabilities.
6. SYSTEMS ORIENTATION
• Proactively suggests improvements in data systems.
• Builds out new data systems as needed within operational teams.
• Supports the Data & Analytics Manager to implement cross-functional data systems.
7. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
• Complies with all local legislative and regulatory requirements.
• Ensures adherence to cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ensures adherence to workplace health and safety requirements.
• Acts in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
1. Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science (or equivalent experience).
2. At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst/Scientist/Engineer.
3. Strong background in Data and Business Analysis.
4. Extensive experiences working with one or more BI platforms, such as Power Bi and Tableau.
5. Working knowledge of data modelling (for example, dimensional modelling) and data analysis in a data warehouse. Experience with Python is desirable.
6. Comprehensive knowledge of SQL and the capacity to create and analyse complex SQL queries.
7. Excellent knowledge of database management systems and the ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) framework.
8. Effective communication, presentation, and problem-solving abilities.
9. Understanding of business processes, best practices, data lifecycles, and standard operating procedures.
10. Knowledge of ERP systems like D365 is Preferred.
11. Thorough knowledge of customer requirements and a drive for client success.
12. Display your commitment to excellence in craftsmanship, ongoing improvement, and team success.
13. Experience working with implementing the ETL process is an added advantage.
14. Solid experience with Cloud Data Warehouses like Azure & AWS is preferred.
15. Some knowledge of Source Control(git) and CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
16. Nice to have some experience with advanced data analysis using Machine Learning.
17. Possess problem-solving aptitude.
18. Good English communication skills.
