About This Job:
Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
Q-Sourcing Servtec Group is looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Senior Directional Driller-Day Shift A for one of our clients COSL UGANDA-SMC LIMITED to work in the Kingfisher oilfield.

Job summary:
The Senior Directional Driller-Day Shift Awill be In charge of the directional drilling operation, which will use directional tools to make the wellbore curve to hit the oil zone that meets client requirements and company objectives.

Key Roles and responsibilities
• Compile directional drilling program.
• Manage the down hole tools.
• Repair and maintenance the JAR/mud motor, etc.
• Prepares documentation for Company daily reports.
• Finish end of well report and other job/post-job summaries and reports.
• Control well trajectory to hit oil zone with mud motor or rotary steering system.
• Other duties assigned by department manager

Mandatory Requirements
Education:
• College degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Industry or the related

Experience:
• At least 3 years of experience in oil industry

Knowledge:
• Understand COSL management policy and relevant technical knowledge.
• Knowledge about basic directional drilling theory.
• Proficient in Chinese and English, able to communicate with local employee and related departments fluently.
• Computer and document processing skills required for the job.
• Have strong coordination ability, execution ability, communication ability, language expression ability and writing level

Capability
• Familiar with the relevant directional drilling skills of this position.
• At list 20 wells’ directional drilling experience.
• Familiar with relevant manage and maintenance knowledge of down hole tools

MISCELLANEOUS
• Age under 45.
• Outstanding planning and organization skills
• Proficient in Chinese and English

Level of Education: Associate Degree
