Senior Finance Officer
Reporting Relationships: The Senior Finance Officer reports to the Finance Manager

Job Summary:
The Senior Finance Officer is responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining cash controls, preparing the payroll, maintaining accounts payable and managing office Finance operations.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities required
Degree in Accounting, plus professional accountancy qualification of level 2 and above.2 - 4 years (minimum) of accounting experience for a public cr private sector organization. Experience with international donor environment. Previous experience in managing US govemment-funded projects.

Experience in leading and managing teams, Familiarity with USAID Rules and regulations is preferred

Proven skills in financial management .Compuler literacy and knowledge of accounting software systems (e.g. QuickBooks Pro).Strong team player with proven communication and collaborative skills.

Possess strong accuracy, attention to details and ability to follow-through. Highly organized with ability to meet deadlines, troubleshoot, problem solver and should-be able to mullitask.
Should be able to work with minimum supervision and result oriented.
