Senior HR Investigations Specialist, HR Investigations Team, Integrity & Ethics
We are looking for a Senior HR Investigations Specialist for a new role working within our Speak Up function in the Integrity & Ethics Department. You will work with the HR Investigations Team, responsible for overseeing case work You will support/deputise for the Head of HR Investigations, collaborate extensively with management teams and operational HR colleagues and work alongside the Anti-Fraud & Corruption and Safeguarding teams.
To be successful, you will have a combination of investigations experience and in-depth knowledge of operational HR matters and employment law principles. You will ensure that investigations into misconduct and power abuses are employee centric, compliant and align with our commitment to being a safe, feminist and anti-racist organisation in which to work. You will be experienced in conducting high quality investigations which may be sensitive and complex, assessing risk, working with internal and external stakeholders. Identifying themes and trends, and aware of diversity and discrimination issues, you will contribute to improving people management practice in the countries where Oxfam GB operates.
We are looking for someone who cares about Oxfam's mission to end poverty and is personally aligned to the values of empowerment, accountability and inclusion and our feminist principles. You will be comfortable working on your own initiative, also a good team player, and used to supervising and working collaboratively with others, giving advice and guidance and making decisions in complex and sometimes ambiguous situations. You will have good listening skills, excellent analytical and presentation skills, and be able to establish credibility, respond to challenges and coach and influence colleagues at all levels across the Oxfam GB community.

The role may be undertaken from the UK, or from a country where you have the legal right to live and work, and where Oxfam GB is also able to form a contract of employment.
This post is suitable for part-time working at a minimum of 28.8 hours across 4 days per week up to full-time hours across 5 days per week. On occasion, you may be required to work out of normal office hours for your location as we work across differing time zones and working weeks.
If you are based outside the UK, we will need to ensure it will be possible to form a contract if you are successful. Please note that Oxfam is not able to provide any relocation costs or visa sponsorship for this role.
