JOB DETAILS:
NIC General is a wholly owned subsidiary of NIC Holdings Limited (NIC). NIC General was incorporated on 3rd March, 2014 and took over the general insurance businesses of NIC in compliance with the legal requirement for separation of insurance businesses under the Insurance (Amendment) Act.
NIC General Insurance is looking for an experienced person to take up a position of Senior IT Officer – IT Infrastructure.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Server administration and preventive/proactive maintenance.
• Bulk SMS Management.
• ICT Infrastructure assets management and maintenance.
• End user data backup and management and ensuring security measures are in place and update antivirus software regularly.
• Monitor and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
• Telephone PABX System management
• Employee clock-in system management
• Assist in help desk support on the AIMS and company email.
• Assist personnel of other departments as an IT resource.
• Making recommendations for infrastructure provisioning solutions or improvements to the business that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
• Any other professional duties as may be required from time to time.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• At least three (3) years of proven work experience in IT support or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software, and networks.
• Experience with operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux), office software.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Good working understanding of IT security principles and practices.
