JOB DETAILS:
Minimum Qualification
Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a recognized University or Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre or other recognized Institution

Working Experience
Applicants should have a minimum of three (3) years relevant working experience which should have been served at Officer level in Government or a reputable organization

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Principal Inspection and Compliance Officer for performing the following duties:-

- Enforcing compliance with the NGO Act, other National Legal Frameworks, policies, guidelines and standards;
- Undertaking investigations concerning NGO activities and producing relevant reports;
- Developing and reviewing data collection tools for incorporation in the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework in order to capture compliance issues;
- Developing and reviewing NGO inspection and compliance guidelines, policies and standards;
- Developing and maintaining compliance tracking and inspection tools;
- Developing and renewing methodologies and approaches for NGO inspections and compliance reviews;
- Developing and reviewing awareness and sensitization material concerning NGOs operation standards and guidelines;
- Carrying out awareness and sensitization programmes concerning NGO operation standards and guidelines;
- Providing technical support and guidance on NGO inspection and compliance;

- Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
