JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and upgrading existing systems and applications needed to keep the business running

Duties and Responsibilities include:
• Manage the development and deployment of new applications, systems software, and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the enterprise.
• Oversee projects assigned to the applications development and applications support teams
• Coordinate and review the complete development lifecycle of the fund’s software systems
• Review and recommend change control processes for the development team to follow.
• Coordinate with the IT Projects team to ensure that development projects meet business requirements and goals, fulfill end-user requirements, and identify and resolve systems issues
• Oversee the collaboration of analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new software programs and applications.
• Provide technical leadership to analysts and programmers working on development project teams.
• Oversee the review and analyses of existing applications’ effectiveness and efficiency and develops strategies for improving or leveraging these systems.
• Oversee the design, development and installation of enhancements and upgrades to systems and application software.
• Enforce functional policies, procedures, and quality assurance best practices.
• Prepare and monitor of budgets when necessary.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to ensure the achievement of the departments objectives.

Education Requirements:
• A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology related field.
• A Masters degree in Computer Science, software engineering or Information Technology related field.
• A professional qualification in, Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Security (CCNP Security, Symantec DLP, SIEM), CEH, OSCP, Wireless technologies, F5 LTM and APM, Imperva WAF/DAM, Fortinet NSE4-8, ISO 27001, ITILv3, CISSP, NSX, Azure Fundamentals/MCSA etc.

Work Experience:
8 years overall IT experience especially in an application support and development capacity and 4 years in a managerial role.
