Job description
On behalf of a major oil and gas operator, I am searching for a Senior Medical Officer, to be based in Kampala, on a long term contract.

Role:
• The job holder shall be accountable for managing the medical aspects of the Project in Uganda, by providing oversight of the medical setup provided by the Project and Contractors.
• They shall oversee the correct implementation of the Project requirements for medical facilities and medical evacuation setup.
• In time, the job holder will coordinate a team of staff members who work on various aspects of patient care, including doctors, nurses, technicians, and other support personnel, in cooperation with HSE, construction and HR departments.

Requirements
• Masters in Medicine BSc. Medicine, emergency or intensive care medicine, tropical diseases.
• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in emergency medical care / response



Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 120

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
