• Purpose:
The Senior Planner will lead the planning and coordination of district development projects and ensure that plans align with government policies and community needs.
• Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement district development plans and strategies.
o Conduct research and data analysis to inform planning decisions.
o Coordinate with government agencies, NGOs, and other stakeholders to align projects with district priorities.
o Prepare budgets and proposals for development projects.
o Monitor and evaluate the implementation of development plans and projects.
o Prepare periodic progress reports for submission to the district leadership.
o Ensure compliance with national planning guidelines and policies.
• Qualifications and Experience:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Development Studies, Urban Planning, or related field.
o At least 3 years of experience in planning, project management, or development coordination.
o Strong knowledge of planning tools, project management software, and data analysis.
