JOB DETAILS:
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Logistic Operations:
• Oversee the day-to-day logistic operations
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as production, monitoring and evaluation, to ensure seamless operational support activities.

Supply Chain Coordination:
• Liaise with suppliers, transportation providers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and reliable delivery of required inputs (e.g., sand, fertilizer, packaging materials, etc). Execute procurement activities for logistic supplies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolving any logistical issues.

Health and Safety:
• Strict adherence to health and safety guidelines and regulations
• Propose preventive measures to minimize accidents and hazards.

Inventory Management:
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure an adequate and timely supply of materials and equipment.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and loss.
• Monitor inventory levels, track supplies, and maintain accurate records of stock movement.

Transportation Management:
• Coordinate and schedule the transportation of materials and equipment to and from the site.
• Ensure the company truck is maintained and operational at all times.

Team Leadership and Management:
• Continuous feedback to the Operations Manager on logistics activities as required.
• Effective continuous communication and coordination with the Site Manager.
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Company Property:
• Ensure all company property is well maintained.
• Follow all laid down applications, policies, and procedures on the preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.

Reporting:
• Reporting as per the company guidelines.

Any other activity as might be requested by Management from time to time.

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent of a diploma with 3 years experience in a similar position).
• Strong knowledge of logistics principles, practices, and regulations.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Effective communication, reporting and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in logistics operations.
• Valid Motorbike riding license
• Unquestionable and unwavering integrity and honesty
