About the Role:
On behalf of our client, TotalEnergies, we are seeking a competent, skilled, and experienced Site Road Safety Officer to join their team in Uganda. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with road safety standards and improving road safety performance.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
• Act as the primary contact between Contractors and the Company on road safety matters to ensure compliance with road safety standards.
• Monitor and report on road safety KPIs for associated contractors, ensuring timely documentation and reporting.
• Oversee the implementation of driver training programs by contractors, ensuring they meet required standards and certifications are valid and authentic.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of all contractor drivers, including driving licenses, defensive driving training, medical fitness certifications, rewards, and sanctions.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Transport and Logistics operations, particularly in Vehicles and Driving Operations, and Data Acquisition Systems with Structural Intelligence.
• In-depth knowledge of in-vehicle management systems, onboard computers, and vehicle tracking systems.
• Previous field experience in Oil and Gas Logistics and operations.
• Strong understanding of international, regional, and Uganda Road Safety requirements and regulations, including Road Safety Acts, East African Community traffic regulations, and Uganda traffic regulations.
