About us: Nurture Africa (NA) is a passionate and compassionate NGO whose vision is to empower Ugandan families to become more self-reliant.
About the Job: Nurture Africa has 3 social enterprise restaurants in Nansana and Kawempe called Urban Village where we offer internship opportunities for youths. This enterprise consists of café/restaurants and a salon. We offer a range of services including a local and exotic menu, juice bar and an assortment of coffees. Our salon offers hair, beauty and spa treatments for women and a men's barber.

Roles and responsibilities:
The Social Enterprise Unit Manager is responsible for everything in the café & salon.
He/she will deliver a high-quality menu and salon services and motivate our staff & interns to provide excellent customer service.
He/she will drive revenue, profitability and quality goals and ensure efficient restaurant & salon operation.

Qualifications and working hours: The suitable candidate should have 5 years' restaurant management experience (ordering stock, production, budgeting, marketing, customer care) with a degree in Management or in any relevant field. You will be expected to work 6 days a week 8 hours a day, evenings and weekends. Only candidates with relevant experience will be shortlisted and contacted
