Job Summary:
The Social Media Department Manager, will be responsible for digital marketing, and will be expected to set campaign objectives and KPIs and monitor the performance of the clients' digital marketing initiatives, responsible for creating and managing digital content and he/she will also work with other members of the creative team to develop ideas, content for new projects or campaigns for the clients.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute strategic monthly content plan for the client.
• Lead the Social Media Team to execute the content plan on the client's digital platforms.
• Develop modern innovative ways to drive engagement and create content.
• Provide reporting to Clients and Company Senior Management on project status, risks, issues, and mitigation plans; be proactive in identifying and resolving or escalating issues and conflicts. Set up, monitor, and report on community KPIs, driving and demonstrating overall value.
• Manage third-party contractors needed for projects e.g photographers, videographers, animators, influencers etc.
• Attend related client meetings and represent the company / department.
• Stay up-to-date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and applications.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience working at the intersection of content creation and social media management.
• Leadership experience (preferred) or Leadership potential.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong client management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of all social media platforms and their algorithmic behaviours.
• Experience with social media paid advertising.
• Ability to understand / interpret digital marketing metrics and KPIs.
• Strong written communication skills / good copywriting skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Communication, Marketing or relevant field (Preferred / advantage but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with web design and publishing.
• Aptitude for tech and collaborative / co-working digital tools such as Google Drive, Trello, Scheduling Tools like Buffer, Hoot suite, Tweet Deck, Content Apps like Capcut.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience (creating or working with) modern content creation i.e Tik Tok, Reels, Music Streaming etc MUST have Apps on phone and be active user.
• Basic proficiency with graphic design tools such as Illustrator, Photoshop.
• Ability to work weekends, nights and out-of-town when required.
• Outstanding brand awareness / experience (Preferred / advantage but not mandatory.
