Job Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing and executing social media strategies for both client brands and Moxie5’s own platforms. You’ll manage multiple pages, handle content calendars, drive engagement, analyze metrics, and lead digital storytelling efforts that spark conversations and conversions. This is a client-facing role, requiring creativity, sharp organization, and confidence to drive digital campaigns from idea to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with client objectives.
- Plan and manage monthly content calendars for multiple brands, including Moxie5.
- Conduct competitive analysis, audience research, and trend mapping to keep content relevant.
2. Content Creation & Execution
- Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and video editors to produce engaging content across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
- Write compelling copy and captions, tailored to brand voice and platform.
- Schedule and publish posts using tools like Meta Business Suite, Hootsuite, or Buffer.
3. Campaign Management
- Coordinate and run paid social media ad campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
- Plan and manage influencer collaborations and community activations when needed.
- Track and optimize campaigns for engagement, reach, and conversions.
4. Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor performance metrics and KPIs (reach, engagement, growth, CTR, conversions).
- Generate and present monthly performance reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on data.
5. Community Engagement
- Respond to messages, comments, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
- Build and nurture online communities that reflect client brand values.
- Monitor online conversations and trends for proactive engagement.
6. Account Management
- Serve as the main point of contact for client digital/social accounts.
- Attend client briefings, present campaign proposals, and maintain consistent communication.
- Ensure all social media output aligns with brand guidelines and campaign goals.
Key Requirements:
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
Technical & Software Skills:
- Proficiency in social media management tools: Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, Buffer.
- Strong working knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or CapCut for light editing.
- Familiarity with Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Knowledge of scheduling, reporting, and performance analysis tools.
Preferred Experience:
- 2–4 years in a social media role, preferably within an agency environment.
- Proven portfolio of managing multiple pages/campaigns.
- Demonstrated success in organic and paid campaign execution.
Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills.
- Creative, resourceful, and always learning.
