Job Title :Social Movements Inspirator
Reports to : Field Program Coordinator -Nebbi with Matrix reporting to Project Coordinator SPAII
Responsible for : None

Contract Period : 12 Months
Job Role: To Support young women, young people, communities, and their organizations at local and national level to build resilience, engage public officials and instructions to respect civil liberties and be accountable for provision of quality a timely social service.
Key Result Areas/Job Description:
• Coach and mentor staff in different analytical packages aimed at holding governments to account, and seeking improvements in the quality, equity, and gender-responsiveness of public services and other forms of social injustice.
• Train different community groups on the basics of advocacy, communication, and campaign.
• Train and mentor community groups on identification of issues, planning and advocating for the issues.
• Train and coach, the different communities on post campaign evaluation – counting success, citing failures, and flagging out opportunities for next level engagements.
• Conduct training and capacity building drives on Movement Building and Social Accountability.
• Convene monthly mentorship and coaching sessions with community groups to support learning acquired to trigger action and practice.
• Support youth and social movement structures in the process of documenting evidence.
• Support youth and social movement structures on best practices of engaging political and technical leadership.
Person Specifications
Qualifications:
• A University Degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or equivalent from a recognized institution; a post graduate qualification in any of the above disciplines will be an added advantage.
Experience:
• At least 1-2 years of relevant working experience from a recognized institution, preferably an NGO
Competencies:
Experience in conducting digital campaigns, preferably in a development context, Knowledge of and experience in developing effective campaigns, Experience working with Youth and women groups, Ability to provide capacity building and support to people with diverse backgrounds and different degrees of digital expertise, Experience in working with diversified groups in rural and peri-urban set ups, must be knowledgeable in Human Rights based approach to programming and participatory tools.
Knowledge and experience in documentation and capturing learning Planning and Budgeting skills; Capacity building skills; Good Communication and Interpersonal Skills; Community mobilization and facilitation skills; Team player; Confidence, openness, and willingness to learn; Self-driven; Ability to work in community setting.
